About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Sales Engineer to join our Fire Protection Systems team in Abu Dhabi.
The ideal candidate should have an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering background, strong UAE experience in fire protection sales, and practical knowledge of Abu Dhabi Civil Defence requirements, NFPA standards and fire & life safety systems.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop new business opportunities in the fire protection and life safety sector.Identify and approach consultants, main contractors, MEP contractors, facility management companies, developers and end users.Conduct regular client and project site visits.Prepare and submit technical and commercial quotations.Review BOQs, tender doents, specifications and drawings.Coordinate with estimation, engineering and project teams to prepare competitive proposals.Prepare technical presentations and explain fire protection systems to clients and consultants.Follow up on quotations, tenders and commercial negotiations.Maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors and end users.Generate enquiries and convert them into confirmed orders.Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.Follow up on payments and coordinate with project teams for successful project execution.Identify upcoming projects and maintain an updated proje database.Participate in meetings, inspections, technical discussions and negotiations.Ensure proposed systems comply with UAE Fire & Life Safety Code, NFPA and Abu Dhabi Civil Defence requirements.

Mandatory / Strong Preference:Experience dealing with Abu Dhabi Civil Defence (ADCDA).Candidate with valid Civil Defence-approv engineer status will be highly preferred.Knowledge of Civil Defence drawing approval, inspection and compliance procedures.Knowledge of UAE Fire & Life Safety Code and NFPA standards.CFPE certification will be a strong advantage for candidates involved in fire-protection engineering and authority submissions.
QualificationBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering or related field.UAE experience in fire protection sal development.Strong technical understanding of both mechanical and electrical fire protection systems.Experience with consultants, contractors and end users in the UAE market.UAE Driving License is mandato English communication and negotiation skills.
Preferred Candidate
We are particularly interested in candidates who have:Existing UAE fire protection industry contacts.Experience dealing with consultants, MEP contractors and main contractors.Experience in preparing fire protection quotations and tenders.Knowledge of BOQ pricing and technical specifications.Experience with Civil Defence-approved fire protection products and systems.Proven ability to generate new enquiries and convert opportunities into sales.Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
